Aartech Solonics, a provider of heavy electrical engineering solutions, announced on Wednesday that it has secured a key order from Qatar to supply its Current Limiting Protectors (CLP), marking its entry into the Middle East energy market. The company did not reveal the order’s financial details.
This order represents a strategic move by Aartech Solonics to tap into the region’s growing need for reliable and efficient power technologies, according to the company’s statement. The Current Limiting Protector is a flagship product designed to improve circuit safety by quickly limiting excessive current flow. This innovation helps prevent equipment damage, minimizes downtime, and ensures uninterrupted operations in critical systems.
The CLP is noted for its durability and dependability, gaining acceptance in sectors such as renewable energy, industrial automation, data centres, and smart grid infrastructure. In addition to its Middle East expansion, Aartech has recently completed a significant power infrastructure project in Indonesia. The project involved installing advanced Bus Transfer Systems for Java Power, enhancing grid stability and strengthening Aartech’s presence in Southeast Asia.
Domestically, Aartech has reinforced its market position with a major order for SCADA-enabled Control and Relay Panels from Chhattisgarh Power, reflecting strong demand for sophisticated grid solutions within India. The company’s BestCase division also delivered customised rugged, IP-rated tool cases to the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy, showcasing its capabilities in producing defence-grade equipment.
Financially, Aartech reported a net profit of Rs 2.73 crore for FY25, more than doubling from Rs 1.30 crore in FY24. Sales increased by 11.03 percent, reaching Rs 36.35 crore compared to Rs 32.74 crore the previous year. The company attributed this growth to successful strategy execution and expanding markets.
A spokesperson said, “Our projects in Indonesia and Qatar highlight our dedication to global standards of excellence. Coupled with strong financial results, these achievements affirm our approach to delivering innovative solutions for vital infrastructure worldwide. We are rapidly growing our international footprint while advancing technologies in defence and power.”
Looking ahead, Aartech plans to expand its global operations in power switching and protection systems, push forward defence research and development projects such as the Electro-Magnetic Launch System (EMLS) and Adaptive Alternate Power Module (AAPM), and apply its patented technologies across renewables, defence, and smart grids.
The company is currently undergoing validation trials for the AAPM, designed for armoured vehicles and artillery, and has filed a patent for the technology. Work is also ongoing on the EMLS in collaboration with R&DEE Pune, focusing on propulsion systems and naval deck integration for aircraft and drones.
Based in Bhopal, Aartech Solonics has over 40 years of experience specializing in high-reliability power control and defence technologies. It serves utilities, defence forces, and industrial clients worldwide, with a focus on innovation and quality.
