Precision Engineering Technologies (PETECH), a Phillips Machine Tools group company, at a specially organised Media Day, unveiled its Performance Series, a breakthrough lineup of high-performance industrial CNC machines that’s transforming precision manufacturing globally. In just two years, PETECH has deployed over 500 Performance CNC machines across India, the Middle East, and Malaysia, demonstrating unprecedented market adoption and industry confidence in its cutting-edge technology. 

On 1st September 2025, at Pune, PETECH unveiled its groundbreaking Performance Series in a power-packed industry gathering that brought together leaders, partners, and media to chart the future of performance-driven manufacturing in India.  The evening at Lemon Tree Premiere was marked by a warm welcome from Nitin Mehra, President of PETECH, who spoke about the growing need for advanced manufacturing technologies in India. Setting the stage for the event, Partho Kar, Joint Managing Director of Jaykay Enterprises, delivered the keynote address, emphasising the importance of innovation in driving industrial growth.

The highlight of the evening was the official launch of the Performance Series, introduced by Arun Upanal, CEO of Upanal CNC Solutions, and Sumeet Bengeri, Vice President of PETECH. The new machines were positioned as a breakthrough designed to enhance efficiency, precision, and scalability for Indian manufacturers. Following the unveiling, Nitin Mehra, Sumeet Bengeri, and Nikhil Modi engaged with the media, outlining PETECH’s vision to provide solutions aligned with global benchmarks and support the transformation of Indian manufacturing. 

The event also featured a panel discussion moderated by Nishant Kashyap of the Tool and Gauge Manufacturers Association – India, focusing on “Performance Driven Manufacturing in Emerging Sectors.” Industry leaders, including Amit Salunkhe of ZOLLER India, Prakash Annaswamy of Indo Nihon Technologies, Prashant Sardesai of Mitsubishi Materials MMC, Sanjay Sangam of Renishaw India, and Vineet Seth of Mastercam India, shared sector-specific insights.

The Performance Series encompasses high-performance VMCs, HMCs, CNC Turning Centres with Y Axis, Vertical Turning Lathes, 5-Axis Machining Centres, and Drill Tap Centres. These machines incorporate advanced Industry 4.0 technologies, including AI integration, IoT connectivity, predictive maintenance capabilities, and automation-ready designs , which enable manufacturers to achieve enhanced precision, increased productivity, superior reliability, and cost-effective operations.
