Victory Precisions Pvt Ltd is a one of the leaders in the die-casting and machining industry, delivering high-quality solutions to clients across diverse sectors. From humble beginnings, the company has grown into a multinational business, known for its innovation, precision, and unwavering commitment to excellence in aluminum die-casting.

Sagar Kaushik, Chairman and Managing Director of Victory Precisions Pvt Ltd, is a first-generation entrepreneur whose journey exemplifies passion, resilience, and ambition. Born in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, Sagar’s fascination with mechanical workshops began at an early age, inspired by visits to state government maintenance workshops where his father, an executive engineer, worked. By the time he was in 4th or 5th grade, he had already envisioned a career in mechanical engineering.

After completing his diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1994, Mr Kaushik moved to Nasik to work in a small-scale industry, starting as a supervisor and progressing to production engineer. His time in Nasik fueled his understanding of industry dynamics and deepened his passion for entrepreneurship. However, Sagar had another dream as well to become a police officer. While preparing for competitive exams in Nasik, he realized his calling lay in industrial development.

In 1997, he took his first entrepreneurial step by investing his savings in purchasing a plot in Sinnar, Nasik. During a visit to Pune, he recognized its immense potential as an industrial and technological hub and decided to establish his business there instead. Mr Kaushik’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1997 with just ₹21,000 and a small, rented space of 120 sq ft in Pune. He bought his first machine on six monthly installments and started fulfilling orders by outsourcing work to small workshops. This phase helped him build confidence and gain insights into the business.

In 1999, Sagar founded Alpha Dies and Patterns Pvt Ltd, focusing on manufacturing dies using CNC technology—a pioneering approach at the time. With the support of his maternal uncle and a ₹50,000 cash credit loan, Sagar invested in cutting-edge technology, positioning Alpha Dies as a leader in CNC-based tooling. Building on this success, he launched Victory Precisions in 2006 alongside his brother, Mandar. Starting with a single machine, the company gradually expanded, acquiring a 2.5-acre plot in MIDC Chakan, Pune, and building an amazing 50,000 sq ft facility by 2009. By 2011, the company diversified into aluminum die-casting, integrating die-making, casting, and machining under one roof. Victory Precision Pvt Ltd stands out for its continuous investment in technology and innovation. The company recently invested ₹6 crore in advanced Japanese pressure die-casting technology to cater to sophisticated markets and expand beyond traditional gravity die-casting.

In 2010, Sagar ventured into reverse engineering with Alpha Reverse Engineering Pvt Ltd, specializing in prototypes and fixtures. This business alone generates ₹20 crore annually. Victory Precisions is planning to transition from being a service provider to a product innovator by developing its proprietary product, which is set to be certified across India, the Middle East, the US, and the UK, and is expected to launch within the next two quarters.

Commitment to Excellence and Future Vision

Today, Victory Precisions operates two dedicated plants for machining and casting, employs over 450+ people, and exports to 8 countries. With an annual revenue of ₹100 crore and an order book worth ₹225 crore, the company is poised for significant growth. Sagar aims to achieve ₹500 crore in revenue within three years and ₹1,000 crore in the near future, driven by technological advancements and a commitment to quality.

Reflecting on his journey, Sagar acknowledges the challenges he faced, including societal expectations and financial constraints. As an entrepreneur, he broke all traditional norms and built his business from scratch, declining lucrative job offers to pursue his dream. His story inspires countless aspiring entrepreneurs to follow their passion with courage and determination.

With a legacy rooted in resilience and innovation, Victory Precisions is more than just a company; it is a beacon of progress in the die-casting and machining industry. By continually adapting to technological advancements and upholding ethical business practices, Victory Precision is transforming industries and shaping the future of manufacturing.
