In an exclusive interview with Machine Maker, Bhairav Shah of Parshwanath Robotics shared the company’s journey since its inception in 2018. Parshwanath Robotics has become a well-known name in the manufacturing industry, specializing in the production of CNC drilling machines and mechatronic systems for various applications. The company’s drilling machines are primarily utilized by printed circuit board manufacturers, and as a result, the company has a significant customer base in this industry. Previously, many of these customers relied on imported machinery, but Parshwanath Robotics has provided a domestic alternative. By offering indigenous options, the company has become a reliable source for manufacturers seeking high-quality and efficient machinery.
During the interview, Mr Shah provided insight into Parshwanath Robotics’ product offerings. He explained that the company specializes in CNC drilling and manufactures highly precise and automatic machines. The machines are primarily used in the production of printed circuit boards, a vital component in many electronic devices. Mr Shah went on to discuss the importance of the mechatronics segment, noting that it will play a crucial role in supporting India’s ‘Make in India’ campaign and further boost the country’s manufacturing industry. The company is investing in this area and is well-positioned to provide high-quality mechatronic systems to meet the growing demand.
Mr Shah expressed his pride in Parshwanath Robotics being among the companies made in India, speaking highly of the ‘Make in India’ campaign. He emphasized that all of the company’s products are manufactured in-house within the country, with 70% to 80% of the components used in production being indigenously developed. The company is working to reduce the import of components and aims to become a fully indigenous firm. Mr Shah commented, “The ‘Make in India‘ campaign has been a source of inspiration for the entire company, and is not only a boon for India but for the entire world, and we’re excited to be a part of it.” Parshwanath Robotics is committed to supporting the campaign and contributing to the growth of the country’s manufacturing sector.
Mr Shah also discussed about Parshwanath Robotics’ export efforts, stating, “We have commenced exporting our products to countries such as Uganda and other African nations since 2020, and we’re planning to expand our exports to include the USA.”
Mr Shah provided insight into the company’s current projects, including the development of a new and unique product – a flying pro-tester for printed circuit board testing. This is an innovative ‘Make in India’ product that no other company has yet manufactured. Additionally, the company is currently collaborating with DRDO on another project. Parshwanath Robotics’ impressive list of clients includes renowned organizations such as ISRO, DRDO, NA electro process, Simtac Pvt Ltd, Metro Electronics, and several other aerospace and electronic firms.
Mr Shah addressed the challenges faced by Parshwanath Robotics. He explained that building a small company into a reputable brand has been one of the most significant challenges that the company has overcome. In addition, competing with foreign players has also been a major obstacle. However, the company has successfully developed and manufactured world-class products, enabling it to overcome this challenge. Despite the hurdles, Parshwanath Robotics has continued to excel in the field of CNC drilling machines and mechatronic systems, and its perseverance in the face of challenges has solidified its position as one of the leaders in the Indian manufacturing industry.
