An innovator cannot be locked within four walls if there is a problem. When the entire world is facing dangerously testing times and the entire nation is under lockdown and confined to the constraints of home due to the widespread of novel Coronavirus, Anand Mundawa, an innovator of many products was working to find ways to get out of the pandemic.
It is true that the pandemic has struck fear in the hearts of every citizen and has induced anxiety, sense of insecurity, and other negative thoughts and emotions, it has surely awakened the creativity and ingenuity in a lot of responsible citizens into contributing towards the adverse situation.
Fighting from the forefront, Anand Mundhava, Director of Aadirec Pvt Ltd and CPM Industries, an engineer by profession and has contributed to the engineering field for more than 25 years, decided to manufacture a walk-through sanitising system that can contribute to the current crisis situation and are easy to manufacture, during the lockdown period.
The idea of sanitising system was shared with his friend and a fellow-innovator, Hardik Shah, and together they decided to develop the sanitising system for the country. Initially, despite their efforts in contacting government officials, politicians, and other officials, the duo faced a lot of problems and failed to receive permission for exemption. However, their relentlessness succeeded and they got permission for exemption.
Anand made the arrangements with his suppliers for all the materials and components needed for the manufacturing of the sanitising system. He collected all the materials and components and brought it home, where he assembled and produced a fully functional prototype of the sanitising system.
Later, Anand pitched the idea of installing the sanitising system at the parking lot of his Ahmedabad residence, which invoked the interest of the residents and the members of the residents’ association. Owing to consistent efforts and teamwork, Anand’s sanitising system was successfully installed at his residence complex – Kirtisagar Apartment, Ahmedabad.
The prototype is highly advanced and it comes equipped with 16 nozzles that provide 360⁰ sanitization. It is an automated system that comes with a timer and various other sensors making it highly efficient at 25 to 30 people being sanitised in one minute. This sanitising system is said to be highly cost-efficient with an installation time of just 30 minutes.
A quick glance at the sanitiser:-
- In a minute 25 to 30 person can be Sanitized
- 2 Hours required for installation
- Easy transportation
- Non-harmful drug
- Automatic sensor operation
- Manufacturing easy
- 360 degree sanitizing
- 16 nozzles to cover the full body
Anand expressed that the sanitising system will serve the purpose of decontaminating people at various public places such as hospitals, police stations, schools, and educational institutions, restaurants, public offices, malls, supermarkets, industries, corporate companies, etc.
These indigenous innovations will take us to a level against this fight. You can reach Anand Mundawa at info@multipurposetool.in or give a call at +91 89806 00888
