Electropneumatics and Hydraulics (I) Pvt Ltd, thought leaders and trailblazing pioneers of the metal forming industry, spearheading the vibrant ‘Make in India’ initiative celebrated their 50th year anniversary serving the manufacturing industry. EPHL marked the occasion with a weeklong celebration that took place from 6th to 12th November in Chakan, Pune. EPHL was founded by Late Antony Rasquinha in the year 1972 with a team of five, manufacturing an indigenous pneumatic valve.
Within the last 50 years, Electropneumatics and Hydraulics (I) Private Limited (EPHL) has grown in strength to become a total solutions provider with in-house strengths in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronics, and software domains. The company planned several activities throughout the week as part of their Golden Jubilee Celebrations – EPMile5t0ne such as, an open house from 7th to 11th November and an evening of interaction and entertainment with workers and their family on 6th of November called as Jashn and 12th of November called as Glitterati from best in industry artists for all their key customers, suppliers, vendors, EP staff with family and well-wishers. The celebration was attended by close to 3000 members including customers, suppliers, employees and their families.
During this special week, they had the flag-off ceremony of the prestigious Akash-NG Missile Launcher in their Strategic Projects Division by distinguished scientist P M Kurulkar, Director- R&D (E) in the presence of key DRDO personnel and many other industry guests and EPHL family.

Today, Electropneumatics operates 5 independent divisions with a diverse portfolio of products and services meeting the forming and engineering requirements of the automotive, consumer goods, white goods, infrastructure, ship building, railways, food and beverage, and defence sectors. The five divisions of EPHL are Fluid Power Division which manufactures Pneumatics valves, Pneumatics and Hydraulic cylinders, and Hydraulic power pack and systems. The Machine Division offers Hydraulic presses, Tube benders, Chassis manufacturing equipment, Power transmission line tower equipment, PET blow moulding machines, and special-purpose machines.
The component Division offers indigenously developed Tube hydroforming, Sheet Hydroforming, Specialized forming technologies to produce critical parts to all auto majors in India and abroad. The Drives & Controls Division offers AC servo drives, AC servo motors, CNC and PLC systems, and Motion control solutions. The strategic project division offers Gun upgrades, Weapon systems, Missile launchers, Weapon support systems, Combat engineering and homeland security, MIL electronic and hydraulic systems, and Naval simulators.
