Small industrial gears are both literally and figuratively the cogs that make work possible in any industry with the need for equipment and machines. They come in different forms and sizes depending upon their purpose and Spiro Gears, a Bengaluru based company has been specializing in the field of manufacturing all types of small industrial gears for both the domestic and global markets. Machine Maker exclusively interviewed Manoj Agarwal, CEO, Spiro Gears, and brings you the cover story of the company and their participation in the upcoming IPTEX-GRINDEX 2020 exhibition.
Spiro Gears began its operations in the year 1996, since then they have been manufacturing gears for textile machinery, printing machinery, gearboxes, oil pumps, power tools, earthmovers, etc as per customer’s specifications. The company also supplies its gears to various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Manoj has been associated with Spiro Gears for the past 21 years and carries out the responsibility as a CEO and plays a key role in the entire administration of the company.
Manoj said that this will be the fourth time Spiro Gears will be participating in the IPTEX-GRINDEX exhibition and unlike in other exhibitions the people who come to the exhibition are very specific about their requirements. He added that although the inflow of people for this exhibition will be less compared to other exhibitions, quality business-related inquiries will be more, which will surely result in positive business partnerships either now or later. Therefore, the objective of Spiro Gears’ participation in this year’s IPTEX-GRINDEX exhibition is to build strong business networks.
Manoj said that the company has been exporting some new types of gears to countries such as Switzerland, Germany, UK, etc and that they will be displaying those new ranges of gears as well in the upcoming exhibition. Manoj added that the IPTEX-GRINDEX 2020 exhibition is organized in Pune for the first time and since Pune is a major industrial hub in India they are expecting a positive turn out of prospective visitors who are looking for quality gears.
