As the General Manager of Health, Safety, and Environment, Shyam has implemented groundbreaking safety measures that enhance operational efficiency and safety. In May 2017, Shyam Y Kapare joined the Cummins Kothrud plant. With 19 years of experience and a passion for safety culture, he elevated Cummins’ safety standards over the next five years.
Under the guidance of Shyam Kapare, General Manager of Health, Safety, and Environment, the company has implemented transformative initiatives, including the lockout/tagout (LOTO) process, digitalised safety records, and hands-on training through the LOTO gallery.
