TDK Corporation has introduced a fresh series EPCOS power capacitor for DC link applications. These new capacitors are available for rated voltages of 700 to 2000 V DC and enclose a capacitance range of 20 to 270 µF. These power capacitors show a handling capacity of up to 60 A at 65 °C with the ability to resist current results up to 7.5 kA. The maximum acceptable heated spot temperature is 85 °C.
