Red Lion introduces the PM-50, the next generation of panel metres. The PM-50 graphical panel metre adds to Red Lion’s award-winning panel metre portfolio. The PM-50 includes built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to remotely access crucial workflow and process data from the plant floor, resulting in a smarter plant floor. Ethernet and Modbus are also available for wired connectivity.
The PM-50 comes with either a 3.5-inch or a 4.3-inch graphical touchscreen display. Users can effortlessly navigate between appropriate screens and acquire extensive operational data for monitoring equipment and production by using easy “swipe” technology. Visual alerts inform the user that quick action is required, either on the unit itself or via the PM-50 app, which is available on Google Play or the Apple App Store.

Installing, programming, and expanding the PM-50 is simple. A metre with a 1/8 or 1/16 DIN panel cutout can be replaced with the PM-50. Easy and intuitive setup is provided by an on-device programming wizard, mobile app, or web browser. Field-installable modules give outputs, communications, and AC power functionality when needed, adding to the overall capability.
