Pepperl+Fuchs innovates system solutions related to process automation

Pepperl+Fuchs has launched extremely customized solutions for Zones 1 and 21 using sensor technology from factory automation, which has a gamut of applications. Sensor technology is increasingly used due to more and more automation in the Process industry. This trend is in the case of hazardous areas also.

The automation of explosion protection from monitoring warehouses to personal and environmental protection regions is being developed. Pepperl+Fuchs generates sensors to be used in pressure-resistant enclosures thus paving the way for automation in harsh conditions too. An example is the use of the R2000 photoelectric scanner in Zone 1 for the storage of chemicals in tankers.

GRP enclosures have the GR series for electrical installation in process plants. They offer optimum flexibility in many applications. They have a state-of-the-art mounting grid due to which there is no need for the additional mounting base. Also, switching elements and enabling terminals can be installed quickly and easily. The mounting of DIN mounting rails is feasible through self-tapping screws.

The enclosure series with IP66 expanded silicone seal has different enclosure depths and sizes and provides a wide range of flexibility.

In the enclosure, components can be installed at varying levels through the innovative spacer system. They can be used up to temperatures as low as -60 degrees Celsius.

Pepperl+Fuchs has the essential knowledge of sensor technology for the industry use and flexible enclosures for explosion protection to devise solutions for complicated issues where hazardous areas exist.
