NORD Drive Systems NORDAC FLEX frequency inverters are true all-rounders: they not only have a wide power range, but they also work efficiently. The NORDAC FLEX SK 205E series was created specifically for use with baggage transport systems at airports and parcel distribution center conveyor systems.
The frequency inverter is known for its large power range, which can reach 22 kW. Furthermore, the NORDAC FLEX SK 205E is compact and, thanks to the integrated POSICON control, allows for high precision in synchronous and positioning applications. Another benefit is the precise and quick control of current vectors: In the event of varying loads, it maintains constant speeds.

The NORDAC FLEX SK 205E also provides maximum flexibility and energy savings, particularly during the partial load operation, thanks to its high energy efficiency. This is true even for applications that don’t technically require an inverter.
When it comes to installation, users are given complete freedom: Inverters can be installed in the field near the drive or integrated into the motor. Plug-in versions of power and data cable connections are available. Short motor and encoder cables, as well as short supply cables to sensors, are possible thanks to the decentralised system. Standard asynchronous motors, high-efficiency synchronous motors, and brake motors can all be controlled by the inverters. Position-controlled transportation systems, for example, can benefit from encoder feedback. The NORDAC FLEX SK 205E’s large operational overload characteristics allow for dynamic movements with short start and stop times or cyclic operation.
The frequency inverters in the NORDAC FLEX SK 205E series have four digital inputs and one digital output (for error messages, for example). The inverter can be monitored using the NORDCON APP software and an optional Bluetooth interface. Possible errors can be identified and corrected quickly this way. The integrated diagnostic interface with the free NORDCON software tool allows for drive parameterisation as standard.
