Kiilto, the family-owned group from Finland, develops Biomelt, a bio-based, biodegradable hot melt adhesive. The company produces and markets chemical industry solutions in the areas of construction, industrial adhesives, fireproofing professional hygiene, and consumer business.
Kiilto pledges to double the share of recycled and renewable raw materials at chemical plants by 2025. The company aims to meet the requirements of industrial customers and help them make their own processes more sustainable. “We look towards being a pioneer in green adhesive solutions for packaging,” said Mäkinen. “Soon we will be launching a new green packaging adhesive solution”
