ZEISS, a global leader in industrial metrology solutions, has announced that on the opening day of IMTEX 2022, the flagship exhibition organised by IMTMA, three new products will be launched – METROTOM 1, SURFCOM NEX 200 SD2, and CONTRUA. They are exhibiting a wide range of Metrology solutions, catering to sheet metal, forming, and emerging industries like EV.
ZEISS Industrial Metrology one of the global leaders in the manufacturing of multidimensional metrology solutions is all set to exhibit its solutions at IMTEX 2022 which will open after a gap of 30 months tomorrow, 16th June 2022 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bengaluru. Apart from exhibiting its existing range of products, the company will also be launching its three new products at the show which focus on sheet metal working – IMTEX Forming.

New Product Solutions from ZEISS Industrial Metrology
METROTOM 1 is a CT X-ray technology launched for plastic industry applications. The New CT has a much more compact design than the traditional CT ZEISS offers, giving the flexibility of installation in a Standard room. Mission-critical plastic parts such as from the medical industry and precision plastics from automotive or other industries can be inspected for their quality externally and internally with this technology.
SURFCOM NEX 200 SD2 – This will be the new product that ZEISS will be launching at IMTEX. ZEISS has improved machine specifications to a much more precise measuring instrument suitable and as demanded by the Bearing Industry. Bearing industry requirements are much more stringent and have very close tolerances, and though ZEISS already had such a precise machine for contour measurement, they have now revamped the existing traditional equipment. Now the bearing industry does not have to go for a higher-end machine instead the bearing industry can go for this specialized equipment launched for their application.
CONTRUA – ZEISS is known for its CMM and last year they successfully introduced CONTURA to the Indian Industry. ZEISS will be officially launching CONTRUA on the IMTEX platform. The CMM comes with MASS Technology and the new Bridge design with a very special Patent alloy material, which has impressed the Manufacturing industry for the past 1 year by becoming the new favourite and the latest CMM model from Carl Zeiss. It comes with many additional features which were already available in their previous models but now have been made available with this new and improved design.
Apart from the traditional metrology solutions and product launches, ZEISS will also focus on EV-related solutions in this edition of IMTEX. “You can come here with two purposes in mind – look at our traditional technology, new products, and live demos.
