IMTEX 2026 proved to be a landmark event for Valgro India Limited, establishing one clear message across the show floor: metal preparation is a core requirement for quality, safety, and performance. With live demonstrations, in-depth technical discussions, and strong visitor engagement, Valgro’s participation translated into a high-impact success story—delivering strong lead generation, deeper customer confidence, and a visible rise in brand value.
A major highlight was the inauguration of the Valgro booth by prominent industry leaders, underscoring the importance of integrated manufacturing ecosystems. The booth was inaugurated by Pradeep Patel, Managing Director, TRUMPF India; M. Hidayath, Executive Director, TRUMPF India; Maulik Patel, SLTL Group; and Mareike Sautter, Head of Country Management MT Asia, TRUMPF. Their presence added credibility and created strong momentum from Day 1, drawing decision-makers from aerospace, EV, heavy fabrication, and precision manufacturing.
Valgro’s IMTEX showcase stood out for one reason: it was about bringing next-generation deburring, edge rounding, and finishing capability to the Indian industry at global benchmarks.
Jahanvi Joshi, Product Head, Valgro India Limited, highlighted Valgro’s commitment to delivering first-time-in-India technologies that solve real manufacturing pain points, manual dependency, inconsistent edge quality, rework, safety risks, and coating failures. She emphasized Valgro’s engineering-led approach, in which machines are built around application realities: variable materials, complex geometries, surface-sensitive parts, and demanding finish requirements. “Our goal is to help Indian manufacturers compete globally with consistent, repeatable surface preparation, right here with Indian-built innovation,” she shared during customer interactions.
One of the key innovations featured was the Valgro DEB36, designed for precision deburring and controlled edge rounding where surface integrity is critical. The DEB36 attracted strong interest for aerospace and EV components, where burr removal and edge conditioning influence fitment, fatigue performance, and coating adhesion. It also received special attention for the sharp-edge preparation of copper bus bars, supporting safer handling and improved reliability through consistent burr removal. Manufacturers working with aluminum, Inconel, and other precious/high-value metals appreciated the machine’s ability to deliver high-quality results while minimizing surface damage and process variation.
Another major highlight was the Valgro RBM 24, engineered to deliver deburring, edge rounding, and finishing in a single pass. With capabilities supporting edge radii from R0.5 to R2 (application-dependent), RBM 24 strongly appealed to heavy fabrication segments—earth-moving equipment, infrastructure, railways & metro components, heavy engineering assemblies, and EV structural parts—where consistency, productivity, and reduced manual labor dependency are essential.
Dr Arvind Patel, a metal-finishing expert and the driving force behind Valgro’s technology roadmap, emphasized that demand for high-end precision deburring and edge-rounding systems is rising sharply—especially in sunrise sectors such as Aerospace, EV, Automotive, and Electrical Bus Bars. As these industries scale up, expectations around safety, fatigue life, coating performance, and process repeatability are becoming non-negotiable—making advanced edge preparation a critical process step, not an afterthought.
Dr Patel also highlighted Valgro’s dual approach to growth: high-end precision engineering platforms for advanced manufacturing and export-grade requirements, and affordable series solutions designed specifically for Indian SMEs, including Tier 3 and Tier 4 suppliers, helping them upgrade from manual deburring to reliable automation without heavy CAPEX barriers
“India’s manufacturing growth will accelerate when technology becomes accessible at every level—premium for high-spec industries, and affordable for SMEs who form the backbone of supply chains,” he shared during the event.
Known for continuously pushing innovation, Dr Patel remains focused on future-ready ideas, machines designed not only for today’s parts, but for tomorrow’s requirements: new alloys, higher volume EV components, tighter aerospace standards, improved surface integrity, and consistent edge radiusing for fatigue-critical parts. His core belief resonated across IMTEX: if the edge is wrong, the part is never truly ready—no matter how perfect the cutting process is.
Achal Patel, Marketing Head, Valgro India Limited, emphasized how IMTEX offered a global-stage opportunity to present Valgro’s innovation roadmap. He noted that Valgro is building brand strength by showcasing application-driven, globally relevant technology to create market confidence that advanced metal preparation can be standardized, scalable, and future-ready.
Across IMTEX 2026, Valgro’s booth remained active with one-to-one technical consultations, application trials, and business inquiries. The result was not just footfall—Valgro returned with high-quality leads, stronger partnerships, and a sharper position in technology leadership. With innovations like DEB36 and RBM 24, Valgro is moving the industry conversation forward: the future of fabrication is not only cutting and forming, it is also finishing with engineering logic, repeatability, and global-quality standards.
