Another key highlight was PrimeGear, Oerlikon’s revolutionary gear-cutting solution designed to optimize tool wear and enhance process reliability. “By increasing gear-cutting efficiency by 45%, PrimeGear is a game-changer for heavy machinery and automotive industries,” said G Kotteeswaran, Sr DGM – Sales and Marketing of Oerlikon.
Oerlikon also introduced INVENTA, a breakthrough in PVD Arc Technology that offers 50% higher deposition rates while ensuring eco-friendly manufacturing. “INVENTA is designed for manufacturers looking to boost performance while reducing their environmental footprint,” noted Manish Kelvekar, DGM – Sales and Marketing – Dies and Mould of Oerlikon.
A standout innovation was BALINIT MAYURA, a multi-colored coating inspired by the peacock, India’s national bird. Developed by Indian researchers at Oerlikon’s Swiss R&D center, BALINIT MAYURA combines aesthetics with high durability, emphasizing Oerlikon’s commitment to India-led innovation. “This technology represents a perfect blend of functionality and visual appeal, ideal for high-end applications where both performance and aesthetics matter,” Guruprasad Potdar, Product Line Manager at Oerlikon explained.
