Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) has announced the new dates of IMTEX2022 Forming and Tooltech 2022 along with Digital Manufacturing will be held from 16-21, June 2022 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. This year the metal forming show will be held in June 2022 and the metal cutting show will be held in January 2023.
Rising COVID19 cases during the beginning of this month forced IMTMA to postpone the IMTEX 2022 exhibition – Cutting & Forming to a new date. As promised, the association announced the new dates, IMTEX FORMING 2022 & Tooltech 2022 along with Digital Manufacturing will be held from 16 – 21 June 2022 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).
IMTEX will focus exclusively on metal forming technologies in June 2022 while the spotlight on metal cutting will be in the next edition to be held in January 2023.
In an earlier statement, V Anbu, Director General & CEO, IMTMA and BIEC said that the decision to postpone the event had been a tough one but considering the sentiments of the manufacturing stakeholders, IMTMA has decided to hold this flagship event, adhering to the COVID protocols strictly to ensure maximum safety of the visitors.
Manufacturers are once again resuming operations after the prolonged COVID impact on the economy. “The IMTEX exhibition will be a great morale booster to the manufacturers and will enable machine tool and manufacturing growth,” Anbu said.
