Haimer, a global leader in tool holding, pre-setting, and balancing technology, made a significant impact at IMTEX 2025 with its cutting-edge solutions focused on precision, automation, and digital transformation. The event, held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, provided the perfect platform for Haimer to showcase its latest innovations, reinforcing its commitment to the future of manufacturing.

Visitors to the Haimer booth witnessed firsthand how the company’s AI-powered pre-setting solution is revolutionizing tool measurement and identification. By leveraging artificial intelligence, Haimer enables manufacturers to achieve higher productivity with fewer errors and enhanced process optimization. The system stores and transfers tool data digitally across the shop floor, streamlining operations for seamless efficiency. “Our AI-driven pre-setting technology ensures maximum precision and traceability, reducing downtime and boosting overall production efficiency,” explained Amolak Singh, Managing Director of Haimer India, South East Asia, and ANZ.

One of the key highlights of Haimer’s presence at IMTEX 2025 was its commitment to the “Make in India” initiative, offering digital solutions that cater to both small and large machine shops. Haimer showcased its scalable and cost-effective solutions designed to elevate productivity while aligning with Industry 4.0 standards. The TD pre-setter, balancing machines, and Power Clamp i4.0 system demonstrated how Indian manufacturers can integrate advanced automation into their production lines.

Haimer is deeply committed to the ‘Make in India’ initiative, providing tailored solutions for manufacturers across different scales—from small machine shops to complex production setups. Manas Majumdar, Country Manager of Sales at Haimer, highlighted the company’s role in supporting Indian manufacturers with cost-effective digitalization solutions, making high-end technology accessible even for smaller enterprises. “From semi-automatic to fully digitalized tool management, our solutions empower manufacturers to compete on a global scale with enhanced efficiency and reliability,” he emphasized.

Haimer is driving the future of machining with its latest digitalization solutions. Olaf Stoffels, Managing Director of Haimer Microset, emphasized the significance of digital processes in pre-setting, a crucial step in machining. He demonstrated how Haimer’s AI-driven autonomously measuring machine, the Vio Linear, simplifies tool identification and measurement. Without prior programming, the machine can independently recognize tool types, measure key parameters like cutting edges, runout, and profiles, and store the data for future applications. This innovation ensures improved efficiency and productivity, enabling manufacturers to save time and reduce errors. With Haimer’s digital solutions, pre-setting becomes a seamless process, allowing operators to transfer essential tool data directly into machine controls. This integration with standard FANUC controls ensures safe and effortless data management, reducing manual errors and maximizing operational efficiency.

One of the major highlights at Haimer’s booth is the unveiling of the Tool Room of the Future. This revolutionary concept integrates pre-setting, shrinking, and balancing machines into a fully digital ecosystem. A dual-screen pre-setter, combined with Haimer’s new WinTool tool management system, enables seamless tracking and organization of machining tools. The traffic light-based visualization system simplifies monitoring, ensuring complete traceability and efficiency. With WinTool, manufacturers can create digital tool assemblies in under two minutes—far quicker than traditional CAM-based methods. The system integrates with CNC machines, ERP software, and inventory management tools, providing a unified database for all machining operations. Moreover, Haimer’s unique tool ID technology ensures 100% traceability, helping manufacturers streamline workflows and enhance productivity.

Haimer is also showcasing a vending machine-integrated tool management system, allowing operators to track and access tools with minimal effort. By scanning a tool’s unique ID, users can retrieve real-time information about its location and status. The system automatically updates inventory levels, triggering reorders when stock falls below a predefined threshold, ensuring uninterrupted production.

As India continues to strengthen its position as a global manufacturing hub, Haimer remains at the forefront, delivering smart, AI-powered, and digitalized solutions that redefine machining excellence. IMTEX 2025 marked a milestone in Haimer’s journey, and the company remains dedicated to enabling manufacturers to achieve new levels of productivity, precision, and automation.
