Grind Master to Launch Bearing Raceway Finishing Machine at IMTEX 2025
One of the key highlights at the Grind Master booth will be the NANOFINISH BRV Series, an innovative Bearing Raceway Finishing Machine for cylindrical, taper, and spherical ball bearings. This machine is designed for critical inner and outer ring finishing operations, resulting from collaborative Indian technology development. The BRV Series offers a high-quality Indian alternative that matches imported machines regarding build quality and process precision.
Equipped with NANOSMART intelligent control systems, this solution ensures unmatched accuracy and process reliability, making it a mission-critical machine for the bearing industry. Developed in partnership with AMTDC-IIT Madras under the support of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, Grind Master has joined the ranks of a handful of global companies capable of delivering such specialized finishing solutions.
Grind Master will also showcase its NANOFINISH CMX500, a revolutionary micro-finishing machine designed for next-generation automotive shafts, particularly for EV motor shafts, hybrid vehicle transmission shafts, and dual-clutch transmission (DCT) components. With next-generation powertrains operating at higher RPMs, the CMX500 addresses the critical need for superior surface finish and improved geometry.
Global automotive OEMs have widely accepted this machine after extensive research in which Grind Master played a pivotal role. The process improves journal geometry, reduces powertrain noise, and enhances overall performance, making it ideal for motor shafts, transmission input/output shafts, and related components.
