Union Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Narayan Rane said on Saturday that the central government will extend all support to MSMEs to help them emerge stronger from the pandemic. Minister also paid a visit to some stalls in the ongoing ENGIMACH 2021, the leading engineering and machine tools show showcasing the latest engineering products and services, at the Helipad Exhibition Ground in Gandhinagar. ENGIMACH is possibly the largest such show in India since the pandemic broke out early last year.
“For two years, everything was closed. The union government is committed to the MSME sector, and will provide all the necessary support and services to such businesses,” said Union Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Narayan Rane during his visit to ENGIMACH 2021 exhibition being held at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Minister noted that Gujarat is the leader in the MSME sector.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has envisaged the dream of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The country has made rapid progress in all areas. I am confident that the PM’s dream and vision will become a reality,” he said further.

The MSME Minister lauded ENGIMACH for bringing the latest global technologies to India and said it would encourage many youngsters to become entrepreneurs and contribute to India’s development. He also praised the infrastructure at the Helipad Exhibition Ground and said it is a matter of pride that such a large exhibition centre has been built in India.

He noted that PM Narendra Modi had inaugurated the exhibition centre, and said he would make efforts to bring more shows to the venue.
During his visit to ENGIMACH, the union minister also saw hydrogen-powered and electric cars that are on display at the show. The minister said the adoption of the two technologies would help the country significantly reduce its fuel import bill.
Earlier, Kamlesh Gohil, CMD, K AND D Communication Limited, the organiser of ENGIMACH, said, “ENGIMACH 2021 has been a roaring success. More than 400 companies from India and other countries are taking part in the show. We are confident the show will give a big boost to MSMEs.”
