MSD Engineering Works have been operating in the metal cutting industry for the past two-plus decades catering to the machine tool segment in the Indian metal cutting ecosystem
MSD Engineering Works was founded in 1997 and has been supplying metal equipment to the metal cutting industry ever since. Back then, the company was called Krishna Engineering Works which was later rechristened MSD Engineering Works.
The company has expertise in manufacturing metal cutting band-saw machines and customized SP machines as per the customer’s requirement. The company specializes in manufacturing all 27 types of metal cutting machines.
MSD Engineering takes great pride in its Made in India product that is manufactured using 100 percent domestically procured components. The company has several plans to develop more.
Talking about the company’s participation in the ongoing Engimach 2021 exhibition in Gujarat, Vishal Umraniya, Director, MSD Engineering Works said, “It’s the fourth time we are participating in the Engimach exhibition. In this edition, we are displaying compact models catering to the metal cutting industry that will facilitate small scale companies that are constricted by the availability of workable floor space to set up their own business.”
“Apart from the compact machines, we are presenting a few other manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated systems in the said segment,” he added.
MSD Engineering Works is also offering its latest innovation in the exhibit in form of a hand-operated semi-automatic band-saw machine that will reduce the workload on the machine operators. The said machine is also a great alternative in the segment thanks to its economical and reliable nature.
Commenting on the future of the company, Vishal said, “We are in the advanced process of expanding our product profile and the company will upgrade its current product lineup on the technological front keeping in mind the rapid shift in the automation field.”
“We have been making significant investments in the R&D department to keep up with the constant technological evolution. We have also recently focused on developing the company’s infrastructure keeping in mind our future goals,” he added.
Apart from the Engimach exhibition, the company has been an active participant in a few other domestic events, and as per the company’s statement, it is planning on expanding its horizon and being a leading figure in the industry.
