Fronius India Brings Next-Generation Welding Technologies to ENGIMACH 2025 with Velo, DynamicWire and Advanced Cobotic Solutions

Vishwanath Kamath, Managing Director at Fronius India Private Limited

Fronius India Private Limited, under the leadership of Managing Director Vishwanath Kamath, is set to showcase an advanced portfolio of welding innovations at ENGIMACH 2025. With deep expertise in welding automation and power-electronics engineering, Fronius continues to set benchmarks in productivity, safety and welding performance for India’s growing fabrication and manufacturing ecosystem.

Established in 2013 and headquartered in Pune, Fronius India represents all three global business divisions of Fronius, Perfect Welding, Solar Energy and Perfect Charging, offering solutions that combine high-performance hardware, intelligent power sources and process-driven engineering. Globally, Fronius has been redefining welding technology since 1945 and remains one of the most respected brands in the welding industry.

A major highlight at ENGIMACH will be Velo – Fronius’ breakthrough in high-speed manual MIG/MAG welding. For the first time, the company will demonstrate manual welding operating at speeds traditionally achievable only through robotic and cobotic automation. Velo enables welders to achieve faster, more consistent and highly controllable welding results with reduced skill dependency and effortless operation. Visitors will have the opportunity to try Velo themselves and experience how Fronius is enabling high-speed performance and simplified usability in manual welding applications.

Alongside Velo, Fronius will showcase its innovative TIG platform, DynamicWire, which automatically adjusts wire feed to match welding conditions, increasing process reliability and precision. The company will also demonstrate its long-established CMT (Cold Metal Transfer) process for robotics and additive applications, known for its low heat input, stable droplet transfer and reduced distortion.

Fronius’ cobotic welding solutions will further highlight how automation can be seamlessly integrated into fabrication environments looking to enhance throughput, quality and process repeatability. Orbital welding demonstrations will address the needs of sectors such as semiconductor and process engineering, where accuracy, purity and weld consistency are critical.

Sharing his views on the significance of trade exhibitions, Kamath emphasised that ENGIMACH plays an important role as a platform for industry interaction, technology demonstration and knowledge exchange. For Fronius, exhibitions are an opportunity to engage with fabricators, manufacturers and welders, and to demonstrate how modern welding solutions can elevate productivity, safety, operator experience and overall manufacturing performance. The Fronius team will conduct live demonstrations, technical interactions and hands-on welding sessions throughout the event, supported by application specialists and welding experts. Fronius India extends an open invitation to welders, manufacturers, OEMs, system integrators and industry professionals to discover how next-generation welding solutions, including Velo, DynamicWire, CMT and cobotic platforms, are shaping the future of welding technology. The company will be present throughout ENGIMACH 2025 at Hall 9, Stall P1, where visitors can experience welding innovation and hands-on demonstrations firsthand.
