At EMO Hannover 2025, Parv Metal Processing Company (PMPC) is poised to showcase its expanding capabilities beyond large-scale castings. While the company is renowned for producing heavy castings up to 7 metric tonnes, PMPC will present miniature models and detailed catalogues to demonstrate its full capacity on the global stage. This year, their focus extends to finished machining, sub-assemblies, and diversification into emerging sectors such as electric mobility, semiconductors, renewable energy, wind generation, and advanced machine tools.
As the global stage for metalworking innovation prepares to unfold at EMO Hannover 2025, one of India’s most dynamic foundry players, Parv Metal Processing Company (PMPC), is set to showcase its capabilities to the world. Headquartered in Rajkot, Gujarat, PMPC is run by a team of technical experts with a vision to deliver excellence through value engineering in every cast product.
An ISO 9001:2015 certified company (TÜV Rheinland), PMPC has built its reputation on uncompromising quality, advanced technology adoption, and metallurgical expertise. Located just 15 km from Rajkot, in the industrial hub of Lodhika GIDC at Metoda, the company operates both hand and machine moulding divisions, with the capacity to produce castings up to 7 metric tonnes per single piece. With a steady output of around 24 castings every month, PMPC caters to global customers across sectors, ensuring both quality and quantity benchmarks are consistently met.
Speaking exclusively with Machine Maker about their approach, Managing Director Sanjay Soni emphasises the company’s integrated solutions: “From start to end, all processes are managed in-house, from 2D and 3D modelling to advanced testing facilities. Our buyers don’t need to go to multiple vendors; PMPC delivers a complete solution under one roof, ensuring global acceptance of our quality.” By bringing end-to-end solutions, from casting to machining, under one roof, PMPC aims to position itself as a trusted partner for industries worldwide looking for consistency, innovation, and long-term reliability.
From Zero Finance to Global Recognition
Reflecting on his entrepreneurial journey, Sanjay Soni traced the origins of Parv Metal Processing Company back to his early career in 1991, when he began in design and development. After nearly 15 years of industry experience, he and two partners decided to venture into their own business in 2004. “We started with zero financing, but our intentions were strong and we were confident in our own capabilities as well as in the people working with us,” Mr Soni recalled.
The three partners built the foundation of PMPC by focusing on their individual strengths: H D Jala led purchase and finance, while Soni himself took charge of marketing and technical initiatives, and their third partner oversaw production and customer relations. This precise distribution of responsibilities allowed the company to grow steadily, step by step.
What makes PMPC stand apart is not only its focus on technical excellence, but also its commitment to people. The company extends care to employees and their families, supporting education, healthcare, housing, and even personal milestones. “It is a win-win situation,” Soni explained. “We believe in taking care of our people the way Tata Sons has been known for. This industry is like a mother industry, and we treat every casting we produce as our own child.”
From these humble beginnings, PMPC has grown into a globally recognised foundry, participating in EMO Hannover for the fifth time. Soni noted that this international exposure has opened doors and brought recognition to their hard work. “We started with nothing but a vision to one day be the number one foundry from India. The path was not smooth, but it was the right one a journey not just for ourselves, but also to contribute to India’s growth,” he said, emphasising how motivating younger generations remains central to PMPC’s mission.
Showcasing India’s Capability to the World
Talking about their long association with EMO Hannover, Sanjay Soni recalled how PMPC gradually stepped onto the global stage. “Before EMO, we first exhibited in India, then in Mumbai, and later we visited EMO as visitors in 2013. That experience became a turning point; we learned what questions were asked, what customers expected, and how to present ourselves on such an international platform. Step by step, we prepared to participate as exhibitors,” he shared.
PMPC has since exhibited at EMO in 2015, 2017, 2019, 2023, and now again in 2025, building its credibility with every edition. Sanjay Soni emphasised how challenging it was in the early years to match global standards: “In 2015 and 2017, it was not easy to keep pace with German precision and quality expectations, especially when many inputs had to come from countries like China. But today, we manufacture most things ourselves in India, and that makes us proud. It carries a lot of value.”
For Mr Soni and his partners, EMO has been a platform to showcase India’s capabilities to the world. “If innovations are happening in America, Germany, or Japan, why should we not do it in India? That belief keeps us motivated. Every EMO strengthens our conviction that India can not only match global standards but also set new ones,” he pointed out.
Carrying the Legacy Forward at EMO Hannover 2025
For Sanjay Soni and his team at PMPC, EMO Hannover is a platform for learn, adapting, and proving that Indian foundries can stand shoulder to shoulder with the best in the world. Over multiple editions since 2015, the company has showcased its ability to evolve, diversify, and embrace new opportunities across sectors from machine tools to wind energy, gearboxes, pumps, and beyond.
This year, as PMPC exhibits at Hall 12, Stand T-36, the focus extends beyond castings to include finished machining, sub-assemblies, and catering to emerging industries such as electric mobility, semiconductors, and renewable energy. With a strong foundation built by three partners and now strengthened by the active involvement of the next generation, PMPC reassures global customers of continuity, stability, and innovation for decades to come. “Our journey started with zero finance but unlimited conviction,” concludes Sanjay Soni. “Today, when we represent India at EMO Hannover, we are proud of how we have grown, emerging as a global leader with capability, confidence, and commitment to the future.”
