I-Mold to Debut at Die & Mould India Exhibition 2024

Preparations are underway as Make in India mould maker I-Mold eagerly awaits to participate in the 13th Die & Mould International Exhibition. Positioned to showcase the latest innovations and tailored solutions, the event is set to take place from February 14 to 17, 2024, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai, India. Organized by the Tool and Gauge Manufacturers Association of India, this highly anticipated exhibition is a crucial platform, bringing together industry professionals, exhibitors, and enthusiasts.

I-Mold, an ISO 9001-2015 certified organization, is committed to driving the Make in India initiative by manufacturing Molds and Dies domestically. Bibhu Prasad, Managing Director of I-Mold, part of JSB Polymers, talking to Machine Maker, shed light on their approach by offering a glimpse into their involvement in the upcoming event. As a relatively new player in the tooling industry, the company is dedicated to serving the Automotive and Electric vehicle sectors.

With just two years in operation, I-Mold has actively sought customers worldwide, particularly from the US and Europe, acquiring over 150 moulds from major global OEMs last year. Taking the company forward, Bibhu Prasad expressed confidence in exceeding the previous year’s achievements. When asked about their debut at Die & Mould India 2024, organized by TAGMA India, Mr Prasad mentioned the critical moulds they are developing for the automotive parts, and some of the moulds will be kept on display.

Their participation at the show will highlight I-Mold’s capabilities and expertise in this niche segment. Regarding the role of organizations like TAGMA and exhibitions like Die & Mould India, he acknowledged their importance in providing a platform for industry players to connect and showcase their offerings. Despite this being I-Mold’s first participation, Mr. Bibhu Prasad expressed optimism, drawing inspiration from the success stories of competitors in previous editions of the event.

With a vision to become the country’s leading mould manufacturer, the company aims to capture a significant share of the import market currently dominated by China and Southeast Asia. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, I-Mold specializes in designing and manufacturing Plastic and Rubber moulds and HPDC Dies, serving various industries.

I-Mold’s sister company, Paramount Polymers Pvt Ltd (formerly Willow Polymers Pvt Ltd), supports its operations by handling forward integration. This seamless integration ensures an efficient workflow and high-quality output for clients. With an annual capacity to produce 200-250 moulds, I-Mold is set for rapid growth in the coming years. A proud “Make in India” company, the team led by Bibhu Prasad aims to build world-class capabilities that can develop complex moulds for the Indian and global industries.
