Established by Sanjiv Sarnaik in 2011, Prasanna Packaging Machinery Private Limited (PPMPL), an ISO 9001:2015 company, is a one stop solution provider for viscous, pasty, liquid product packaging requirements. Their range of products are Filling Machines, Sealing Machines, Filling and Sealing Machines, Cartoning Machines and Automatic Four Head Flavored Milk and Crown Capping Line Machines. They participated with VS-100 Dosing (filling) Machine and 1-6-R Fully Automatic Machine which can produce 1200 cups per hour in the Dairy Industry Expo 2019, Pune.
Machine Maker spoke with Kalyani Sarnaik, Director of PPMPL about their participation and their product line. The entrepreneurship journey of Sanjiv Sarnaik started with Space Electricals in 1993, the manufacturing facility located at Thane. Mr. Sarnaik was successful in bringing original Swiss technology in India during 1993, and further modified products suiting to the needs of the Indian standards and market.
“We provide good quality machines with less maintenance, that is one reason our customers are still operating them for more than 20 years. The first machine we sold to Chitale Dairy is still working, which was sold in 1996”, shares Ms. Sarnaik. The major products manufactured are Cup Filling and Cup Sealing machineries and major customers are from the Dairy and Food Processing industry.
Our product range is wide, with our smallest machine producing 600 cups/ hr to 7000 cups/ hr, which is used by big Dairies. We have recently ventured into turnkey projects for the Dairy Industry setting up of dairy plants starting from product manufacturing processes to end of line packaging. We are a regular participant in the Dairy Industry Expo 2019, and is a great platform to meet new and existing customers.

PPMPL manufacturers automatic and semiautomatic machines which can fill dairy, food, chemical and cosmetic products in containers like cup, bottles, tins, cans, jars and seal them with accuracy. These products are either liquid or viscous in nature. They also manufacture cartoning machines which help insert and close bottles, blisters, tubs, puttis etc in mono-cartons.
