GOMA Engineering Private Limited ranks highly as the pioneering company that introduced the first indigenously built homogenizer in India, lifting the ‘Make in India’ spirit as early as in 90’s and has established itself as one of the few complete process solution providers for dairy and beverage industry in India.
Machine Maker spoke to Mr. Neeraj Radhakrishna from the Process and Technology division of GOMA Engineering for dairy and beverage industry during the Dairy Industry Expo 2019. The company exhibited its two mainstream machines – a 3000 litre Plate type Pasteurizer and a 3000 litre Homogenizer machines for the dairy industry.
Set up in 1982 by first generation visionary entrepreneur Mr. Keshavji Meghi Gosrani, GOMA Engineering started its journey with the designing and manufacturing of simplex and triplex pumps for hydro test application.
In 1990 the company launched India’s first indigenously manufactured homogenizer and hence ventured into dairy and beverage processing solution to become one of India’s top three process technology suppliers and grew to provide entire turn key projects and process solution for the food and dairy industry.
The company currently has two divisions – high pressure pumps and systems which manufactures triplex reciprocating pumps which are used in oil and gas industry petro chemical industry and food process technology and equipment which is related to dairy and beverage section.
