TWTC showcased ACON, the company specializing in the Automotive electronics division and connectors, and Magtech, Taiwan’s leading corporation in supplying Industrial Magnets.
The demonstration was followed by an exhibition of Labelled International, Taiwan’s one of the leading label printing machine manufacturers.
Introducing to the Taiwan Product Center, which is aimed at promoting bilateral trade in India, TMJ Bharath, Project Manager, Taiwan Product Center, said to Machine Maker, “Specialized in Home Automation products, Machine engineering products and 5G connectors and cables, TWTC represent around 20 companies in India under the Taiwan Product Center. “We envision helping the Taiwan Companies to find the right buyers for them by promoting their products,” he adds.
Genuine Buyers rather than General Inquirers
Dignified by the global trade in manufacturing, India has been spurred as the manufacturing powerhouse, as witnessed in the expansion of the domestic market to the global industries.
Poising to be the cause of market expansion across the world, the trade fairs, and Expos, as in the reports have been continuously spurring as the customer-spot for the manufacturers, from local contracts to global trade.
While speaking on the company’s aspiration in the exhibition, Bharath said, “We are intensively looking for potential customers rather just the general Inquiries. And, acquiring the genuine and quality buyers, right from the second day at ACMEE satisfied us.” Being struck badly by COVID 19 outbreak, the company still somehow managed to set itself again on the track of globalizing Taiwan Companies, thereby uplifting the bilateral trade between Taiwan and other countries in various manufacturing verticals.
Telling how TWTC wrestled with the pandemic’s strike, Bharath says, “We saw numerous halts in our Activities due to pandemic. Even, Taiwan was affected very badly. Still, we tried to manage the events by promoting the products online to achieve stability in the trade scenario.”
The bilateral trade with the countries, even being operational undergoes some hurdles. It is imperative to note that from Taiwan’s perspective, communication was a very big problem as well the expectations of the companies to get the best quality at a cheap price also affected the companies who are into sustaining their business in India.
Speaking about the policies and regulations concerning bilateral trade, Bharath added, “There has been a series of efforts from both, Taiwan and India regarding the trade agreements. There are various tax exemptions as seen in Trade among Asian Countries. If we can come up with that, it will help the buyers to reduce the import tax and thus, add more value in the products.”
Representing Taiwan’s world-class machine tools, Taipei World Trade Center participate in almost all the trade fairs and exhibition particularly in the Machinery industries like IMTEX in Bangalore, Intec at Coimbatore, and AMTEX in Delhi. The company will also participate in Electronica India, India's and South-Asia's leading international trade fair for electronic components, systems, and applications, which is organized in Bangalore, from December 16 to 18, 2021.
