Geberit India has commenced production at its newly inaugurated PE piping plant and testing facility in Pune, marking a significant step in strengthening its manufacturing footprint in the country. The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior leadership from the global and India teams, including Christian Buhl, Martin Ziegler, Robert Lernbecher, Gorika Shyam, and Ravi Kumar.
The newly operational plant features a fully automated production line for polyethylene (PE) pipes, supported by an advanced in-house testing facility. This integrated setup enables the company to ensure consistent product quality while accelerating delivery timelines and improving operational flexibility. The localization of production is expected to reduce lead times and strengthen supply chain efficiency for projects across India.
