When a mould fails mid-production, the clock starts immediately. Every hour of downtime is a delivery missed, a customer conversation no one wants to have. For the die and mould industry, repair speed and precision are not abstract concerns. They are the difference between a job that stays on schedule and one that doesn’t. This is the problem Laser Technologies has built its business around.

Founded in 2011 by Dr Rakesh Agarwal in Navi Mumbai, the company has spent fifteen years making laser-based repair and welding solutions accessible to Indian manufacturers. At TAGMA Die Mould India International Exhibition 2026, the company will put that capability on full display.

The exhibit at Hall 2, Booth F06 will centre on laser repair solutions engineered for die and mould applications, with accuracy, durability, and minimal downtime as the design brief. The applications are direct and practical: flash elimination, parting line repair, gate modification, and surface build-up on injection and die casting moulds. These are everyday problems in any active toolroom, and laser welding handles them faster and with less heat distortion than conventional methods.

“The die and mould industry demands solutions that perform consistently under pressure,” says Dr Rakesh Agarwal, Founder and Managing Director, Laser Technologies. “At TAGMA, we want to show how laser repair can extend mould life, cut downtime, and help toolrooms produce better results from the same assets they already have.”

The company serves over 1,000 customers across India, backed by a field service team of more than 27 engineers and a stated response time of under two hours. That service depth is as much a part of the value proposition at TAGMA as the machines themselves.Laser Technologies will participate at TAGMA Die Mould India International Exhibition 2026 at Hall 2, Booth F06, Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, from 21 to 24 April 2026.
