Premier Energies Limited has announced the receipt of new orders worth ₹2,577 crore during the fourth quarter of FY2026, reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s solar manufacturing sector. The orders comprise supply commitments for approximately 1,600 MW of solar cells and modules, with execution timelines extending across FY2027 and FY2028.

The contracts have been awarded by a diverse group of domestic customers, including independent power producers (IPPs), module manufacturers, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms. This broad customer base reflects sustained demand for domestically manufactured solar components and highlights the company’s strong reputation for delivery and product quality.

The latest order inflow comes at a time when India is accelerating its renewable energy capacity addition, supported by policy initiatives aimed at strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities. The company’s integrated approach—covering both solar cells and modules—has enabled it to cater to large-scale project requirements while maintaining control over quality and timelines.

Premier Energies continues to scale its manufacturing operations to meet rising demand. The company’s solar cell production capacity is expected to reach 10.6 GW by September 2026, while its module manufacturing capacity has recently been expanded to 11.1 GW. These capacity additions are aligned with the company’s long-term growth strategy and are expected to support its ability to service both current and future orders efficiently.

Commenting on the development, Managing Director Chiranjeev Saluja noted that the steady inflow of orders reflects customer confidence in the company’s technological capabilities and execution track record. He emphasized that the company remains focused on delivering high-quality solar solutions while supporting India’s broader push toward energy self-reliance.

With over three decades of experience in the solar industry, Premier Energies has built a strong foundation centered on innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainability. The company continues to invest in advanced manufacturing technologies and process improvements to enhance product performance and reliability.

As India expands its renewable energy footprint, companies such as Premier Energies are expected to play a critical role in meeting demand for locally produced solar components. The growing order book provides visibility for future revenues while positioning the company to capitalize on opportunities in both domestic and global markets.
