Wipro Limited has announced a landmark multi-year strategic engagement with Olam Group, a leading global food and agri-business headquartered in Singapore. The eight-year collaboration is expected to exceed USD 1 billion in total contract value, with a committed spend of USD 800 million, making it one of Wipro’s largest transformation deals to date.

Under the agreement, Wipro will deliver end-to-end transformation services across Olam Group’s operations using a consulting-led and AI-powered approach. The engagement will leverage Wipro’s industry expertise, strategic partnerships, and its unified suite of AI-driven platforms to enhance operational efficiency and support long-term growth.

The transformation will span Olam’s entire “farm-to-fork” value chain, covering key areas such as farming, demand forecasting, trading, supply chain management, and customer engagement. The objective is to build a more agile, resilient, and data-driven organization capable of responding to evolving global market dynamics.

As part of the broader collaboration, Wipro will also integrate capabilities from Mindsprint, a technology and business services firm that has been instrumental in Olam’s digital journey. Subject to regulatory approvals, Mindsprint will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Wipro. The company brings strong domain expertise in the food and agri-business sector, along with proprietary digital platforms focused on plantation management, procurement transformation, finance operations, sales enablement, and commodity trading.

Olam Group operates across more than 60 countries and serves approximately 22,000 customers globally. With a workforce of nearly 40,000 employees, the company plays a significant role in global food supply chains, spanning farming, processing, and distribution.

This partnership reflects a growing trend of large-scale digital transformation initiatives within the agri-business sector, driven by the need for improved efficiency, sustainability, and transparency. By combining Wipro’s AI capabilities with deep industry expertise, the collaboration aims to unlock new growth opportunities and deliver measurable business outcomes.
