Specialty chemicals company LANXESS is presenting its extensive range of solutions for the rubber industry at the 12th India Rubber Expo 2026, being held from April 7 to 10 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Visitors can explore the company’s offerings at Booth B006 in Hall 5, where LANXESS is highlighting innovations across rubber chemicals, specialty chemicals, and processing aids.
A key focus area is Functional Tire Additives (FTA), where LANXESS provides a complete portfolio covering every stage of rubber production. This includes accelerators, antioxidants, anti-ozonants, and peptizers designed to enhance durability and performance.
Among the highlights is Vulkanox HS Scopeblue, a sustainable version of the widely used antioxidant Vulkanox HS (TMQ). Developed to protect rubber products from heat and oxygen-related degradation, the product features low volatility and minimal migration. It delivers a carbon footprint reduction of over 30 percent compared to conventional alternatives and is produced using 55 percent sustainable raw materials, including biocircular acetone and renewable energy. The product is manufactured at an ISCC PLUS-certified facility in Germany.
LANXESS is also showcasing Vulkanox 4060, a sustainable alternative to 6PPD, offering comparable protection against oxidative aging in both tire compounds and finished tires, as demonstrated through laboratory and application testing. Additional products on display include Vulkacit®, Vulkanox®, Renacit®, Zinkoxyd aktiv®, NaMBT 50%, Vulkanox® 4005, and Benzothiazole (BT).
In the Specialty Rubber Products (SRP) segment, LANXESS is presenting solutions that span the entire value chain, from compound development to finished components. The portfolio includes pre-dispersed chemicals, processing aids, vulcanization and filler activators, anti-sun check waxes, release agents, latex chemicals, and more. Its advanced manufacturing facility in Jhagadia enables supply of next-generation release agents to the Indian market.
Innovations such as the filler-free inside tire paints Rhenodiv BP-337 and BP-338 ensure clean and efficient demolding without hydrogen release, while reducing material consumption. Advanced products like Rhenogran® CLD 80, Aflux® SD, and Vulcuren® further enhance processing stability, crosslinking efficiency, and long-term performance, supporting the development of sustainable, low rolling resistance “green tires.”
LANXESS is also showcasing a wide range of plasticizers and flame retardants, including phthalate-free plasticizers, polymeric variants with high extraction resistance, and halogen-free phosphate-based solutions. Featured brands include Mesamoll®, Ultramoll®, Disflamoll®, Reofos®, Levagard®, Firemaster®, and Emerald Innovation®.
LANXESS, a leading specialty chemicals provider with a revenue of EUR 6.7 billion in 2023, operates in 32 countries and employs around 12,600 people. The company focuses on the development, production, and marketing of chemical intermediates, additives, and consumer protection products.
