Tata Consultancy Services (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a global provider of IT services, consulting and business solutions, has entered into a strategic collaboration with Honeywell (Nasdaq: HON) to help building and industrial operators transition from traditional automation systems to enterprise-wide autonomous operations. The collaboration combines TCS’ strengths in IT modernization, cloud transformation and advisory services with Honeywell’s deep expertise in operational technology (OT), automation, control systems and AI-driven analytics. Together, the companies aim to enable real-time operational intelligence, improve efficiency and deliver measurable business impact.
As part of the initiative, TCS will support the integration of operational technology data into enterprise IT environments. Leveraging its consulting and digital transformation capabilities, TCS will work with Honeywell to build a unified digital backbone that enables real-time monitoring, predictive insights and autonomous process control.
Honeywell will contribute its Honeywell Forge platform—an IoT-based solution that delivers AI-powered analytics, dashboards and secure operational visibility. This includes Honeywell Forge for Industrials and Buildings suites, designed to enhance efficiency, resilience and security across complex infrastructure environments.
By bringing OT and IT systems together into a cohesive architecture, the partnership will help organizations streamline workflows, deploy AI-enabled autonomous processes and improve decision-making speed and accuracy. The integrated environment is designed to perceive operational conditions, analyze data patterns, take informed action and continuously learn to optimize performance.

Ashish Modi, President, Honeywell India & Asia Pacific, highlighted that complex industrial and building operations have traditionally managed OT and IT systems separately. With advancements in 5G connectivity, cloud platforms and artificial intelligence, he noted that accelerating OT/IT convergence can significantly enhance operational visibility, analytics and responsiveness.
In addition to its industrial and building technologies, Honeywell will deploy AI-driven automation tools and OT cybersecurity solutions designed to enhance asset reliability, workforce productivity and process efficiency across sectors. The new offering will initially be rolled out to customers in India, followed by expansion into international markets including the United States and the Middle East.
