RIR Power Electronics Limited (BSE) has announced the appointment of N Ramesh Kumar as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective February 11, 2026. Ramesh G Trasi, who has led the company as CEO for more than 22 years, will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer and continue to guide RIR’s technology development and innovation initiatives.
Mr Kumar brings over 42 years of leadership experience across sales and marketing, business development, and end-to-end P&L management, covering diverse product portfolios and global markets. He has a strong track record in expanding market presence, launching new products, and strengthening brands through disciplined execution.
Prior to joining RIR, Mr Kumar served as Global Business Head – Industrial Products and Solutions at CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, where he oversaw large and complex operations and delivered consistent business performance. He was also a member of CG Power’s Executive Committee, contributing to key strategic decisions through close engagement with customers, partners, and employee groups. Most recently, he was Chief Executive Officer at Diffusion Engineers Limited, managing manufacturing facilities in India and overseas, along with regional sales operations.
