HAINBUCH GmbH has been honored with the TOP 100 Seal 2026 in Size Category C (companies with more than 200 employees). The award recognizes HAINBUCH as one of Germany’s most innovative medium-sized enterprises and highlights its long-standing commitment to forward-thinking development. The official presentation of the award will take place on June 26, 2026, at the Congress Center Heidelberg during the German SME Summit.
At HAINBUCH, innovation does not happen by chance. It is the result of a clear structure and consistent strategy. The TOP 100 competition does not evaluate individual inventions, but rather the company’s overall innovation management and measurable innovation success. Under the scientific direction of Professor Nikolaus Franke (Vienna University of Economics and Business), more than 100 criteria are analyzed across five areas: innovation-oriented leadership, innovation culture, innovative processes and organization, openness to external ideas, and successful market implementation.
HAINBUCH is a leading manufacturer of clamping, change-over, measuring, and automation solutions for milling, turning, and grinding applications. Founded in 1951, the family-owned company is headquartered in Marbach am Neckar and operates globally with eleven international subsidiaries.
The company combines Swabian inventiveness with practical engineering expertise and a strong focus on customer needs. Engineers, developers, and practitioners work side by side with a shared goal: to make workholding processes simpler, more efficient, and increasingly automated.
HAINBUCH’s innovation culture is closely tied to the mindset of the owner family. Gerhard Rall, owner and inventor of the SPANNTOP principle, describes this approach clearly: “Our goal is to make our customers successful through outstanding performance and intelligent solutions. We prefer to take risks with new ideas rather than achieve success by imitation.”
This philosophy has shaped the company for decades — from the groundbreaking SPANNTOP clamping principle of the 1970s to today’s automation-ready, digitally connected solutions. Recent examples include intelligent IQ clamping systems and the automated centroteX AC interface, which enables fast, fully automated changeover of complete clamping devices. Innovation is also part of daily operations: every year, HAINBUCH works closely with customers to develop more than 1,000 customized solutions for complex clamping requirements.
“The TOP 100 Seal shows that innovation at HAINBUCH is deeply rooted across the entire organization — from the initial idea to processes that deliver real value for our customers,” says Sylvia Rall, Owner and CEO. “We make targeted investments in technology, expertise, and collaboration to support manufacturing that is simpler, more precise, and ready for automation.”
