Crown Worldwide Group, a global leader in logistics, relocations, and records management, has inaugurated its third owned facility in India at Ramasandra, Bengaluru. Spanning 76,000 sq. ft. and built with scalable, green-certified infrastructure, the facility represents a major step in Crown’s worldwide growth journey. India now contributes 10% of the Group’s global revenues, ranking among its top five markets.

The inauguration was led by Crown’s global leadership team, including Jim Thompson, Founder and Chairman; Jennifer Harvey, Group CEO; Tze Shen Kong, CEO Asia; and Srinivas Krishnan, Managing Director – South Asia. “Opening this facility during Crown’s 60th anniversary year makes the occasion even more meaningful. It reflects both our legacy and our vision for the future,” said Jim Thompson.

Set on a seven-acre site, the facility blends modern architecture with environmental responsibility. EDGE-certified as a Green Building, it features landscaped frontage, a glass dome façade that optimizes natural light, and interiors constructed from certified green materials. With only 25% of the land utilized, the site allows for seamless circulation and future expansion. Sustainability measures include energy and water-efficient smart systems and 43% of the site dedicated to greenery.

Designed primarily for Information Management, the facility dedicates over 57,000 sq. ft. to multi-tier racks capable of storing more than 900,000 cartons. Supported by barcode tracking, secure destruction zones, and evacuation-ready layouts, the facility ensures safety, security, and resilience. Crown Workspace and Crown Relocations also have purpose-built areas for handling furniture, fittings, personal effects, and specialized equipment.

“India is one of the fastest-growing markets for our clients and for Crown,” said Jennifer Harvey, Group CEO. “This facility positions us to deliver next-generation storage and information management services to customers in a rapidly expanding region.”

Future-ready features include bonded warehousing, climate-controlled storage for wine, spirits, and healthcare products, and specialized secure environments for artworks and cultural assets under Crown Fine Art. Backed by digital infrastructure and real-time monitoring, the facility enhances efficiency and client confidence while reducing environmental impact.

“Bengaluru strengthens our regional presence, enabling us to serve South Asia with greater scale and efficiency,” noted Tze Shen Kong, CEO Asia. Srinivas Krishnan, Managing Director – South Asia, added, “This facility is a strategic addition to Crown’s India network and underscores the long-term importance of the country in our global growth story.”
