ACME Solar Secures ₹1,734 Crore Deal for 50 MW Renewable Energy Project with Tata Power

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for a 50 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project from Tata Power. This deal is part of a larger 250 MW FDRE tender released by Tata Power-D, a key subsidiary of Tata Power. The project will help fulfill India’s growing energy demands and contribute to the nation’s renewable energy goals.

The project will combine solar power with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to ensure a steady supply, meeting a minimum annual CUF (Capacity Utilization Factor) of 40% and providing four hours of peak-hour supply with 90% availability on a monthly basis. The system will be designed, manufactured, and deployed in India, reinforcing the country’s commitment to renewable energy through local production.

The project is slated for completion within 24 months from the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
