Valvoline Cummins Private Limited, a key player in the automotive fluids segment, has announced a new strategic collaboration with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, one of India’s leading SUV and utility vehicle manufacturers. The partnership aims to deliver a range of high-performance lubricants—including engine, transmission, and axle oils—under the Mahindra Maximile brand.

These products will be made available through Mahindra’s dealership and aftermarket networks via the company’s spares distribution channels. This initiative further strengthens the longstanding association between the two companies, built over more than 20 years of working together in India’s automotive aftermarket.

As part of this enhanced alliance, Valvoline Cummins will now supply a majority of Mahindra’s lubricant needs in the domestic aftermarket, scaling up both the volume and scope of the relationship. Tailored lubricant solutions will be deployed across Mahindra’s operations in North, West, and East India. The Maximile product range will cater to the entire lineup of Mahindra’s passenger vehicles, SUVs, and pickups, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

The partnership is formalized through a four-year agreement that aligns with Mahindra’s broader goals around improving operational efficiency and product performance. This collaboration underscores Valvoline Cummins’ continued commitment to providing premium solutions that support the evolving needs of automotive manufacturers.

Sustainability is also a key part of the alliance. Valvoline Cummins will introduce Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) packaging into the Mahindra supply chain, reflecting both companies’ shared focus on environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices.

Sandeep Kalia, Managing Director of Valvoline Cummins Private Limited, shared his thoughts on the partnership “Our association with Mahindra spans decades, and today marks a new phase in this journey. This agreement highlights our technological strength, service capabilities, and a shared dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. It also positions us for significant business growth together.”

Michael Dreyer, Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Asia Pacific region at Valvoline Global Operations, added “Mahindra is on a strong trajectory towards global recognition, and we’re proud to be a part of their continued progress. This partnership is built on mutual values—innovation, performance, and sustainability. By working closely across geographies, we’re aiming to deliver not only better products but also a better experience for Mahindra customers.”

Valvoline Cummins is a 50:50 joint venture between Valvoline International Inc (a subsidiary of Valvoline Global Operations) and Cummins India Ltd, one of the country’s leading engine manufacturers and exporters. The company specializes in the production, distribution, and marketing of automotive lubricants, greases, and related products across India.
