BEML Limited Secures First Overseas Rail & Metro Contract from Malaysia

BEML Limited, has won its first overseas contract in the Rail & Metro segment. The order, valued at USD 1 million, has been awarded by a Malaysian client for the retrofit and reconditioning of the country’s Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) system.

This milestone project marks BEML’s entry into the global rail and metro services market and underscores its capability to deliver advanced engineering solutions for international mass transit systems. The scope of work includes comprehensive retrofit and reconditioning services aimed at extending the operational life, enhancing performance, and improving passenger experience on the MRT network.
