JSW Energy Secures First Long-Term Agreement for Dispatchable Renewable Power with SECI

JSW Neo Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has entered into a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the supply of 230 MW of Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) through the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS). This agreement, finalized under SECI’s FDRE Tranche IV scheme, represents the company’s inaugural contract in the FDRE segment. The tariff has been set at ₹4.98 per kilowatt-hour.

With this new addition, JSW Energy’s projects under development now total 12.9 GW, bringing the company’s total committed power generation capacity to 30.2 GW. The company remains on track to meet its long-term goals of reaching 30 GW of installed generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage by 2030.
