Tenable®, a leader in exposure management, has announced an expanded collaboration with SRF Limited—a diversified chemicals manufacturer known for its industrial and specialty intermediates—through the adoption of the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform. This move strengthens SRF Limited’s cybersecurity framework by enabling comprehensive risk visibility across both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. The initiative marks a key step in SRF’s broader strategy to secure its digital infrastructure in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
“Staying ahead of cyber threats is a constant challenge in our sector,” said Sanjay Rao, President and Chief Information Officer at SRF Limited. “As ransomware, phishing, and supply chain attacks continue to grow in sophistication and frequency—targeting both IT and OT systems—it’s essential to implement strong protections without hindering operational agility.”
Insights from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) reveal that most OT threats now originate from IT environments, with identity-based exposures accounting for the majority of initial breaches. With Tenable One, SRF gains a consolidated view of cyber risk across its global operations, enabling it to benchmark performance and respond more quickly using actionable intelligence from OT systems.
“Cybersecurity isn’t about eliminating every vulnerability—it’s about identifying the ones that pose the greatest risk and acting fast,” said Rajeev Verma, Chief Information Security Officer at SRF Limited. “Tenable has long supported our IT risk management, and with Tenable One, we now have unified oversight extending to our factory floors.”
As part of this initiative, SRF plans to establish a centralized monitoring center under its SecureOT program, strengthen network segmentation, and implement advanced threat detection tools. These steps are intended to boost cyber resilience, safeguard critical operations, and ensure compliance with international security standards.
“SRF is demonstrating industry leadership by integrating IT and OT cybersecurity efforts into one comprehensive framework,” said Nigel Ng, Senior Vice President, Tenable, Asia Pacific and Japan. “Their forward-looking strategy ensures they can rapidly detect, assess, and address the most pressing threats to their infrastructure.”
Tenable’s platform helps organizations manage and reduce cybersecurity exposure by delivering unified visibility and actionable insights across IT, cloud, and industrial systems. With a global customer base of approximately 44,000, Tenable is a trusted name in helping enterprises close the gaps that threaten security, business continuity, and trust.
