SEIL Energy India Limited, a leading power producer based in Nellore, has been awarded by the Indian Red Cross Society, Andhra Pradesh, in recognition of its contributions to social welfare. The honour was presented during a ceremony in Vijayawada, where the organisation’s Governor and State President, S Abdul Nazeer, conferred the Red Cross Medal on Albert David Peter, Head of CSR at SEIL Energy.

The award highlights SEIL Energy’s ongoing efforts to uplift communities through targeted and impactful initiatives. One of its key projects involved supporting the Indian Red Cross Cancer Hospital in Nellore. SEIL Energy CEO, Janmejaya Mahapatra, expressed pride in the recognition, stating, “Our purpose goes beyond power generation. We are committed to creating lasting value for the communities around us. Whether it’s in healthcare, sustainability, or social development, our CSR efforts are focused on making a real difference.” He added that these projects reflect the company’s long-term vision of contributing to a healthier, more sustainable future for all.
