Rosmerta Group, a leading name in smart mobility solutions, has been selected for a major infrastructure contract valued at ₹166.69 crore. The company will design, build, operate, and eventually transfer ten high-tech Automated Driving Testing Tracks (ADTTs) across Maharashtra under a five-year agreement, further cementing its role in advancing automated and contactless driver testing systems.
The ten locations where these modern testing centers will be established include Sindhudurg, Sangli, Akluj, Osmanabad, Jalna, Hingoli, Yavatmal, Wardha, Bhandara, and Gadchiroli. These sites will soon feature completely automated test setups that utilize video-based analytics to provide unbiased and real-time assessments of driving skills. The system also includes facial recognition for applicant verification, removing the need for manual intervention.
Rosmerta’s proprietary system integrates AI-powered decision-making tools and real-time video analysis to evaluate candidates’ driving behavior with precision. The upcoming tracks in Maharashtra will incorporate features such as customizable evaluation parameters, night-driving simulations, and various complex driving maneuvers including reverse S-turns and slope tracking—all of which aim to mirror real-life road conditions.
The key components of Rosmerta’s advanced ADTT setup include fully automated testing processes with zero manual oversight, instant video analysis across multiple camera angles to flag any errors, and infrastructure built to support complex test cases. The model has already proven its effectiveness, with over 1.6 million tests conducted at existing facilities. Rosmerta also operates twelve government-authorized tracks in Delhi, making it one of the most experienced players in the segment.
Kartick Nagpal, President of Rosmerta Group, shared his views on the development: “This initiative is a major step forward in our mission to modernize road safety infrastructure through advanced technology. By bringing fully contactless driving test centers to ten key districts in Maharashtra, we are promoting fairness, efficiency, and accessibility in the licensing process. We commend the State Transport Department for their forward-looking approach in adopting digital solutions that support road safety and responsible driving.”
This project aligns with the Government of India’s broader objective of enhancing road safety under its Surakshit Safar programme. With a focus on transparent, tech-led driver evaluations, Rosmerta’s growing presence in automated testing is contributing to a more robust and reliable licensing system—ultimately leading to fewer road incidents and more competent drivers on Indian roads.
