The upcoming Engineering Technology Expo (ETE) is receiving significant industry support ahead of its debut in Eastern India. Organised by Future Market Events, the exhibition has secured major endorsements from key regional and national trade bodies, including the Federation of Small & Medium Industries (FOSMI), Orissa Small Scale Industries Association (OSSIA), Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ltd. (UCCIL), and the Ahmedabad Engineering Manufacturer’s Association (AEMA).
These partnerships mark a major milestone as ETE prepares to become the first national-scale manufacturing exhibition held in West Bengal. Set to take place from 20–22 November 2025 at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan in Kolkata, the expo will feature over 100 exhibitors and aims to attract 7,500+ business visitors from across India’s industrial hubs, with a strong focus on Eastern and North-Eastern states.
Anuj Mathur, Managing Director of Future Market Events, noted “The response has been outstanding. This event is designed to bring visibility and opportunities to regions that have historically been underrepresented in the industrial growth narrative. The support from organisations like FOSMI, OSSIA, UCCIL, and AEMA is a testament to the rising importance of Eastern India’s manufacturing sector.”
ETE is set to act as a springboard for business development across underexplored industrial corridors. With reach extending beyond Kolkata into Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Assam, and Chhattisgarh, the exhibition offers direct access to over 42,000 factories and buyers across these states.
The Engineering Technology Expo will offer visitors a dynamic and hands-on experience through live demonstrations that highlight the latest advancements in manufacturing. Attendees can expect to see cutting-edge machine tools and precision equipment in action, alongside advanced metal cutting and forming systems designed to enhance production efficiency and accuracy. The event will also showcase laser cutting technologies and welding and joining solutions, giving participants a close look at the tools driving next-generation fabrication processes.
In addition, the expo will feature demonstrations of CAD/CAM software tailored for modern manufacturing environments, illustrating how digital design integrates seamlessly with production workflows. A key focus will also be on automation systems and smart factory technologies, aligning with the global shift towards Industry 4.0. These live sessions aim to provide manufacturers, engineers, and decision-makers with practical insights into how innovative solutions can transform their operations and boost competitiveness.
ETE will also serve as a platform to facilitate international trade by welcoming buyers from Bangladesh, Nepal, and Myanmar. This cross-border participation opens up new sourcing and business development opportunities for Indian manufacturers looking to grow their export footprints.
