Titan Company Ltd, a Tata Group enterprise, on Friday announced a series of senior leadership changes, set to take effect over the coming months. Ajoy Chawla, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Jewellery Division, will assume the role of Managing Director starting January 1, 2026, succeeding the incumbent, C K Venkataraman.
As part of this organisational transition, Arun Narayan, who presently heads the Tanishq India business, will succeed Ajay Chawla as CEO of the Jewellery Division, effective January 1, 2026. Additionally, Kuruvilla Markose, currently leading Titan’s international business, will become CEO of the Watches Division from August 13, 2025. The company confirmed that Suparna Mitra, the current CEO of the Watches Division, has submitted her resignation, effective August 12, 2025.
Arun Narayan has been steering the Tanishq India business since April 2020, overseeing retail, marketing, and merchandising operations. He has previously held multiple leadership roles within Titan, including Regional Business Head (West), Helios Business Head, and National Sales & Retail Head for Titan Watches. With close to 30 years of experience across the Tata Group, he is a member of the Tata Administrative Services and holds a postgraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Kuruvilla Markose, also part of the Tata Administrative Services since 1995, brings three decades of cross-sectoral experience spanning FMCG, telecommunications, business process outsourcing, consulting, digital platforms, and retail. He joined Titan in 2015 as Chief Digital Officer and is currently responsible for the company’s international expansion in watches, jewellery, and eyewear. The appointments reflect the company’s strategic focus on strengthening its leadership pipeline as it continues its growth journey across domestic and international markets.
