The 3rd edition of the EV and AutoTech Innovation Forum took place at Vivanta, Hinjawadi, Pune, gathering more than 300 key decision-makers and visionaries from the electric vehicle and automotive technology sectors. The one-day event, organized by Konnect Worldwide Business Media, focused on the theme “Shaping the Future of Mobility”, addressing the surge in demand for intelligent, connected, and sustainable mobility solutions. Topics included advancements in software-defined vehicles (SDVs), EV charging infrastructure, autonomous driving systems, and next-gen two-wheeler technologies.
The forum welcomed prominent representatives from across the automotive value chain—ranging from Tier-1 suppliers and global OEMs to tech innovators and government stakeholders. Experts from companies like Jio Platforms, ARAI, Harman, Visteon, MediaTek, Maruti Suzuki, TATA Motors, Omega Seiki Mobility, and Stellantis offered perspectives on how cutting-edge technologies are reshaping India’s mobility landscape. Key focus areas included real-time connectivity, sensor-based intelligence, and energy-efficient system design.
Speaking at the forum, Steven Lee, Deputy Director at MediaTek, highlighted the country’s growing prominence in connected mobility. He noted that India’s automotive software market is expected to grow at an 18% CAGR through 2030, driven by high-performance computing, AI-driven cockpit systems, and robust 5G integration. MediaTek’s portfolio now includes specialized automotive chipsets designed to support immersive user experiences, with a strong emphasis on safety, cybersecurity, and intelligent automation.
Mohan Raju, Vice President at Jio, spoke about the evolution of car-to-environment and home-to-car interactions. He emphasized how in-car systems are becoming an extension of users’ digital lifestyles—seamlessly linking navigation, productivity tools, entertainment, and even household controls. With voice command systems in regional languages gaining traction, this transformation is making mobility more accessible and personalized than ever.
Throughout the day, panel discussions and fireside chats delved into topics like machine learning applications in vehicle systems, telematics-driven fleet solutions, and over-the-air software updates. Industry disruptors such as Micelio Discovery Studio and Exponent Energy presented their unique contributions to clean mobility, highlighting localized innovations and scalable green energy solutions. A dedicated demo zone hosted by Tier-1 suppliers and a live vehicle display from TATA Motors, Skoda, MG Motors, and Matter Mobility gave attendees hands-on exposure to the technologies shaping the future of mobility.
Ujjwala Karle of ARAI shared insights into the organization’s R&D capabilities and its role in setting industry standards, while Sivakumar Yeddanapudi from Visteon emphasized the importance of collaboration in advancing cockpit technologies.
