Telangana’s Minister for Information Technology and Industries, D Sridhar Babu, inaugurated the Global Value Center (GVC) of Evergent Technologies in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Evergent Technologies, a California-based leader in AI-driven SaaS solutions for media, entertainment, telecommunications, and digital consumer sectors, has established this center as a strategic hub for product development and innovation, according to an official statement. With over 600 engineering and AI professionals already based in Hyderabad, the company plans to expand its workforce to more than 1,000 by the end of 2025.
Minister Sridhar Babu met with Evergent’s leadership team, including CEO Vijay Sajja, to discuss the company’s growth trajectory and explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration in areas such as innovation and talent development in the region.
“Telangana aims to contribute $1 trillion to India’s economy over the next decade. To achieve this, we must shift from volume-driven growth to value-driven growth, focusing on high-impact sectors like AI, semiconductors, defense, and deep-tech,” Sridhar Babu remarked.
