Cyient Limited, a global leader in Intelligent Engineering solutions, has appointed Kavita Kurup as its new Chief People Officer (CPO). Based at the company’s Hyderabad headquarters, Kavita will oversee the global Human Resources function and lead the company’s talent, culture, and workforce strategies across all regions. She will be tasked with aligning talent development, leadership programs, and organizational effectiveness with Cyient’s growth goals and vision for the future.

With over 25 years of leadership experience across various industries, including Technology, BFSI, FMCG, Media, and Not-for-Profit sectors, Kavita has a proven track record in transforming people practices to drive business agility and workforce evolution. Her expertise lies in designing and executing large-scale, future-focused initiatives that enhance organizational performance and value creation.

Before joining Cyient, Kavita worked at UST, where she played a crucial role in shaping the company’s global people strategy across 30+ countries. Her work there focused on areas such as talent strategy, leadership development, diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I), culture building, and employee experience—driven by a bold, human-centered approach.
