As India’s quick commerce market continues its rapid ascent, the Storage Solutions division of the Godrej Enterprises Group is stepping up to meet the growing demands of this dynamic sector. Already a key player across e-commerce, retail, and third-party logistics (3PL), the business is now sharpening its focus to cater to the unique needs of quick commerce—where speed, adaptability, and efficiency are paramount.

“With more than 10 million sq. ft. of mother hubs set to be developed by emerging startups and major e-commerce players over the next few years, and over 3,000 dark stores expected by next year, the need for responsive, high-performance storage systems has never been greater,” said Vikas Choudaha, Business Head of Storage Solutions at Godrej Enterprises Group.

“As delivery timelines shorten and consumer expectations rise, transforming storage and fulfillment infrastructure becomes critical. We’re not just scaling up to support these needs—we aim to redefine how India stores, manages, and delivers goods. Whether it’s large-format warehouses or compact solutions for dark stores in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, we’re committed to enabling this shift.”

Fueled largely by the surge in quick commerce, Godrej’s Storage Solutions business anticipates over 25% growth in this segment over the next 12–18 months. Backed by advanced manufacturing units in Chennai and Bengaluru, the company is ready to serve both domestic and international markets with precision-engineered, scalable systems.

With a robust market position and a strong foundation in technological innovation and design, the Storage Solutions division is aligned with India’s broader ambition to build smart, future-ready infrastructure. The focus remains on empowering industries with storage systems that are not only efficient but built to evolve with the changing pace of commerce.
