Airox Nigen Equipments, a leader in green hydrogen solutions, has successfully completed a 72 Nm³/hour green hydrogen project for Toshiba Plant Systems & Services Corp. (TPSC) in Bangladesh. The project involved the installation of three skid-mounted systems, each equipped with a compressor, capable of producing 24 Nm³/hour using a 120 kW alkaline electrolyzer.
Airox Nigen managed the entire process, from design and engineering to supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing operation and maintenance of the hydrogen system. The system, featuring a 360 kW alkaline electrolyzer and a storage pressure of 10 bar, ensures efficient hydrogen production and storage. Additionally, it allows for hydrogen compression and cylinder filling at 150 bar, optimizing its use. The generated hydrogen energy is integrated into TPSC’s grid, improving grid stability and supporting sustainable energy practices. A thorough 96-hour Performance Guarantee Test Run (PGTR) validated the system’s reliability for micro-grid applications.
“This project is a significant step toward advancing green hydrogen adoption across South Asia,” said Aniruddh Agrawal, Business Development Manager at Airox Nigen Equipments. “By incorporating hydrogen into TPSC’s grid, we are showcasing how hydrogen can bolster energy security and sustainability for industries globally.”
